A sauna, spa and state-of-the-art gym are just some of the features that can be found at Cambridge Innovation Park, where BSD Cambridge is now located.
The big move
Our Cambridge team have recently transferred operations from Stow Court in Stow Cum-Quy to Stirling House in a bid to promote staff wellbeing.
The move saw director Mark Dyer and the team relocate to a more contemporary space, which is also in close proximity to a number of our clients – including Wates Construction, Kershaw Mechanical Services and Kier.
The team have been busy delivering a number of significant projects in Cambridgeshire, including:
- University of Cambridge’s new £13m primary school
- £20m North West Cambridge Development residential scheme
- A major boiler room and plant replacement at St John’s College
“We care about our employees and want to make sure everyone has a healthy work-life balance. This means we can get the best out of our team. Stirling House has enabled us to do this by being more accessible and having amenities onsite to encourage staff wellbeing.
“Being in close proximity to a lot of our clients means we can continue to foster excellent working relationships and a collaborative approach to engineering.
“Along with the health and fitness suites, Stirling House also includes a day nursery for those with small children. It also boasts a café to make the lunch run that little bit easier.
“We’re delighted to make the move to a new space which reflects our business ethos. Stirling House is a contemporary, creative space and the perfect working environment for our team.”
